I was responsible for adding CG cars in the oncoming traffic. I cleaned up the models and did lookdev. I figured out how to use the software CRAFT to rig and automate the car animation.

I explored NVIDIA’s Omniverse software and created this image for the Create - Marbles Set contest. Omniverse stood out with its intuitive design and sleek UI. NVIDIA featured my image on their website and even expressed interest in promoting my side project—a realistic Tesla driver visualization—if I migrated it to Omniverse.

All assets in the scene were USD files provided by NVIDIA. I closely tracked rendering times, as optimizing the workflow from offline rendering to real-time rendering was particularly fascinating to me.

In path tracing mode, the 4K frame renders in just 8 seconds, even with in-camera depth of field enabled—an impressive speed given the scene’s complexity. With a few tweaks to the settings, it can even run in real time with minimal quality loss.

A project with a quick turnaround. I rigged, animated and textured a low poly dog. Then figured out the workflow of getting the animated dog into Lense Studio while also learning Lense Studio enough to publish the final AR app to run in Snapchat.

With a finger tap on the screen the dog would cycle through different animations. It was important to keep joint count low and everything optimized for the dog to play back smoothly on older phones.

After helping win the pitch by creating a quick demo of coins attached to an animated CG horse using MASH. I managed a small team of artists going from pitch to delivery.  

I came up with a workflow so that coins could be animated in Houdini and imported into Maya while retaining instancing of a single coin so it could be rendered in Maya efficiently.

I also handled editing in premiere for posting to client as needed.

When I was staff at Loyalkaspar the company had an event called LK5 celebrating the 5th year of the company. A few of the artists in the company got the great opportunity to create a video for the occasion.

This is my video for the event. I developed the idea and created it from start to finish.

In 2012, we made an app for Macy’s that showed a jungle of animated animals. The user could move around the world with their phone and take pictures with the animals. We also made a commercial for the event.
